My agency's NDA turned a job interview into a guessing game
I was in an interview and had to dodge every question about my current projects due to the non-disclosure agreement. The hiring manager seemed annoyed, and I'm not sure how to handle this next time. What's your take on NDAs that block basic career talks?

Suggest framing past work around your problem-solving skills, not secret details.

On my first resume, I listed every software tool and version number. I used to believe that proved I knew my stuff. But your advice on problem-solving skills COMPLETELY shifted my view. Now I focus on how I fixed real issues, and it makes my experience so much clearer. That framing is WAY more effective in interviews.

Talk about your general methods, not secret details, like @evan_burns95 said. If your NDA blocks specifics, redirect to how you solve problems without naming names.
