Client ghosted after we sent the NDA draft last Friday

We had a solid verbal agreement with a startup in Austin called VoxNet. Sent over the standard NDA on Thursday and then nothing. No replies to email or voicemail for a week. Has anyone else had a deal fall apart right at the legal paperwork stage?

Oh come ON, you REALLY think someone is gonna be scared off by a little "non-disclosure" nowadays? That's like, the FOREWORD to every app update you agree to without reading. Honestly, if they got spooked that easily, they probably also run from their own shadow in a dark room. Maybe they thought it said "non-disclosure agreement" and assumed they'd have to sign away their firstborn child or something. I mean, it's just paperwork. People act like a NDA is a curse from a witch doctor or something.

Yeah from what I've seen, that's pretty common. Some people just get cold feet when the legal stuff shows up.
