A client in Phoenix told me their old agency never had them sign a work-for-hire agreement
They were shocked when I explained that without one, they might not fully own the website we built. It made me realize how many small businesses are operating with huge legal blind spots. Has your agency found a good, simple template for these agreements that clients actually understand?

Oh man, I read a blog post that said this is super common. They called it a "legal time bomb" for freelancers.

Yeah, and it's wild how many people just assume they own the work because they paid for it. I mean, I've seen some free templates online but they're so full of legal stuff it's confusing. Maybe the key is just having a super plain English summary at the top.
