Rant: I fixed a 1980s Teddy Ruxpin that quit talking by smacking its battery pack exactly 3 times on the carpet
Kid me thought it was dead forever in the closet, but 2 hard taps against the floor at my mom's place in Dayton got the cassette gears spinning again. Anyone else learn a dumb physical trick like that on a toy they refused to throw out?
