My dad said my old Lego bin looked 'sorted by a crazy person' so I dumped all 6 pounds back out
I had them grouped by color from 1997 to 2004, which is apparently why I could never find a 2x4 when I needed one. Anyone else's parents roast their childhood storage system, or just mine?

Ha, color sorting is the worst way to store Legos. The shape matters way more because you can never find that one piece when everything is one big red pile. My brother did the same thing and we spent hours digging for tiny bits.
