Blew $45 on a Tamagotchi at a flea market in Tulsa and it died in 3 days
My inner 10 year old was thrilled for 72 hours until the little thing beeped its last beep in my cupholder, so does anyone know if the newer ones actually last or am I just cursed to kill pixel pets as an adult too?

Mine lasted 4 days before the screen went blank and I never figured out what killed it. I fed it, cleaned up after it, played the games, did everything the little instruction sheet said. Then one morning it just showed a tombstone and a ghost floating up. Newer ones are hit or miss too. My niece has one of the reboot ones and hers has been going for months, but she also barely touches it. Kind of makes me wonder if paying attention to them is what finishes them off.
