TIL the 'cheugy' thing my niece said about my jeans was actually a compliment from her generation
I was at a barbecue in Austin last Saturday and my 19 year old niece looked at my bootcut Levi's and said 'omg these are so cheugy, I love it.' I figured she was roasting me, so I almost went and bought skinny jeans the next day, until I read a thread where three teens said cheugy stuff is basically nostalgic and cool again. Has anyone else gotten a slang word thrown at them and had no clue if it was an insult or a high five?
