My niece showed me that 15 second pancake dance and I actually got it after 4 days of trying in my kitchen
My niece is 16 and she kept bugging me to learn that pancake dance thing from TikTok. I am 43 and my knees are not what they used to be, but she bet me 20 bucks I could not do it. First two days I looked like a broken lawn chair falling over. Then I figured out the trick, you do not move your feet much at all, it is all in the shoulders and wrists. I practiced in my kitchen for 15 minutes each night and by day 4 I could do the whole thing without messing up. My niece filmed it and sent it to her friends and now they call me the pancake lady. Does anyone else have a teen in their life who got them into one of these dances, and did your body hate you after?
Wondering how long your knees held up before they started complaining, because mine were toast after just learning the two step my kid showed me. Did you have to ice anything down after those 15 minute practice runs, or was it more of a sore the next morning kind of deal? I ask because I am 41 and every time I try this stuff my body sends me a bill two days later. Also curious if your niece actually handed over the 20 bucks or if she pulled the whole you are an adult you do not need it thing. That shoulder and wrist tip is money by the way, I would have never guessed the feet barely move.
