PSA: That beer ad where the guy's whole wedding party cries at a text is the dumbest thing I have seen this year
My sister sent me a 60 second beer spot on Sunday where the groom's friends all start bawling because he texts the group chat 'she said yes to the dog.' Everyone I know keeps sharing it like it is sweet, and I do not get it at all. I install fencing 50 hours a week, so maybe I am just tired, but watching grown men cry over a wedding text while a brand logo sits in the corner makes me want to throw my phone. It has 8 million views already and every comment is people tagging their friends saying 'us.' Am I the only one who thinks these crying-at-a-text ads are played out, or do they actually work on you?
