Just realized I've been skipping the SAME part of every ad I watch, and it clicked why nothing sticks
For like 2 years I'd skip ads the second they got to the part where they show the actual product, and I never noticed I was doing it until my sister watched me scroll and asked why I never let one finish. Turns out I only ever remember the weird ones with a gimmick, like that 1-800 number jingle, and can't name a single thing I've bought off an ad. Does anyone else block out the product part without even meaning to?
