Shoutout to the 1998 Budweiser 'Whassup' ads, I quoted that jingle for 2 weeks straight and my roommate almost moved out
I watched a 90 second compilation of those 'Whassup' spots on a random Tuesday and started answering my phone with that dumb drawn out 'whassuuuup' for 14 days straight. My roommate at our place in Toledo actually started screening my calls and told me he was 'one more whassup away from packing his stuff' which honestly was fair. Did any of you ever get so stuck on an old ad catchphrase that it almost cost you a friendship or am I just the worst?

Being "one more whassup away from packing his stuff" is a real threat from a roommate who has clearly hit his limit. The thing about those Budweiser spots is the jingle gets stuck because it's basically two syllables stretched out forever, so your brain can just loop it with zero effort. I still catch myself doing the "wassssup" when a buddy calls, and my wife just sighs and walks out of the room.
