My uncle worked on a beer spot in Milwaukee that got pulled after 2 days, and what he said about it stuck with me
My uncle did sound work on a beer commercial in Milwaukee back in the 90s and it got yanked off the air after about 48 hours. I always figured it was pulled for something wild, but he said the real reason was one shot of a guy's wedding ring on the wrong hand and a complaint from like 3 people. He told me "nobody at the network ever watches the whole thing, they just panic and kill it." Now every time a banned ad goes viral I wonder how many got axed over something that small. Anyone here know of a spot that got pulled for a reason that dumb?
