3 years ago a Red Bull ad in Germany got pulled for showing a guy sprouting wings, and I still think about the edit they had to do
They cut the wing growth scene and swapped in a parachute, which killed the whole point of the spot. Anyone got a link to the original cut? I can only find the edited one on archive sites.

Did you ever see the original one though? There was a version floating around on some old ad blog years back and the guy basically turns into this full on bird person mid sprint, which sounds dumb but it looked SO slick. The parachute swap is such a bummer because it takes a spot about pushing your body past normal limits and turns it into a spot about safety gear. I get why they pulled it, Germany has strict rules about stuff that hints at drugs or whatever, but the edit just feels like a totally different ad. No luck finding a clean copy either, best I got was a grainy clip someone screen recorded before it got yanked.
