My buddy swore I should pay $4 for no ads on that recipe app, and wow was he right
My friend Dave (who works nights at a warehouse here in Boise) told me last winter to just hand over the $4 once to kill ads on this recipe app I use for dinner ideas. I laughed at him, because who pays for a recipe app, right? So I kept using the free one and every single time I opened a dish, a 30 second video for some mattress company blasted at full volume. One night I was following a chili recipe and the ad started auto playing while my hands were covered in onion, so I could not even hit skip. I wiped my hands on my jeans and paid the dumb $4 that same night. Three weeks later and I have not seen a single ad, plus the app actually loads the steps faster now. Dave will not let it go, he brings it up every time we grab tacos. Has anyone else caved and paid to remove ads from some silly little app, or am I the only sucker?
