My 6 year old asked why the Cheerios ad family never actually eats the cereal, and now I can't unsee it
We were watching cartoons Saturday morning and my daughter pointed at the screen and asked why the mom pours a full bowl, smiles at the dad, and then they just walk away. I counted 4 straight Cheerios spots where nobody takes a single bite. Once you notice it you see it everywhere, the pizza ads with one perfect slice, the soda ads where the can is always sweating but never opened. Is this some rule they teach in ad school or do the actors just hate cold cereal?
Food stylists actually spray stuff on the food to keep it looking fresh under hot lights, like they'll coat a burger in hairspray or glue the sesame seeds on. So that cereal is probably rock hard and tastes like chemicals by take 15. Your kid basically caught them using fake food that was never meant to be eaten in the first place.
