A stranger on Reddit told me my ad complaints were lazy, and it made me redo how I mute stuff
Two months ago I posted a rant about a laundry pod commercial that plays 6 times during every single game on ESPN. Some guy replied with 4 words: "you are watching live." It annoyed me at first, but he was right. I was sitting through every break on purpose and complaining about ads I could have skipped. So I switched to recording games on my DVR and waiting 40 minutes before I start. Now I fast forward through every break and I see maybe 2 ads a night instead of 30. It is not a perfect fix since live sports spoilers find me anyway. What do you all do to dodge the same ad over and over?
