Am I the only one who thinks the Bic 'Write the Future' pen ad from 2019 was actually better after they cut the 30 second version down to 15?

When they trimmed it in early 2019, the slow zoom on the kid's hand got replaced with a hard cut and the voiceover line about 'your first big idea' got pitched two octaves lower, and honestly the shorter cut hits way harder for me, so I'm curious if anyone else caught that edit or if I'm just too deep in ad land.
