Saw a mattress ad at my mom's place in Toledo where the price tag changed 3 times in 30 seconds
I was sitting in my mom's living room in Toledo last Sunday and a mattress commercial came on, and I swear the price flipped from $899 to $799 to $999 before the thing ended. My mom yelled "wait, what is it" at the TV, which honestly was fair. I rewound it twice to make sure I wasn't losing it, and sure enough, three different prices in one spot with no fine print anywhere. Is this a thing now where they just swap numbers and hope nobody notices, or did some editor have a really bad day?

Did the mattress come with a stock ticker too? I rewound a car ad once and felt like a detective just to find out I had no idea what the price ever was.
