That viral photo of a guy holding a sign at a protest turned into him getting a book deal
I overheard someone at the hardware store say how a random snapshot of him standing there got picked up by news outlets and now he's writing a memoir, has anyone else seen a normal person blow up from a single image like that?

My cousin's neighbor had a similar thing happen back in 2017. He was just sitting on his porch drinking coffee when some local news snapped his picture for a story about the housing market, and it went viral because his expression was so deadpan. Next thing I know he's getting calls from publishers and ended up with a small book about being a regular guy in a crazy city. It was wild to watch because he never asked for any of it, just happened to be in the wrong place at the right time I guess.
