That barista from Denver got 12 million views and now her shop has a 3 hour line
I was scrolling at 2am after my shift and saw this girl crying over a latte art fail, some customer filmed it without asking. Next day the shop had news vans outside, she did interviews, got a book deal. It messed with my head because I've had worse spills on the line and nobody cares. Is anyone else bothered by how random the algorithm picks who gets famous, or am I just bitter that my burn scars never trended?

Damn, that's nuts. I mean, I once dropped an entire tray of iced coffees on a bride's white dress and the only thing that trended was my face turning the same shade as the strawberry syrup. Idk, maybe I should've cried harder or had someone film it, but apparently my dignity just isn't viral material. It's wild how one random moment can blow up while the rest of us are out here doing the same stuff for nothing. But hey, at least my burn scars make for a good party story, just not a book deal apparently.
