Spent $300 on a 'viral fame' consultant after my cat video hit a million views
I hired a firm in Austin that promised to turn my accidental cat clip into a real brand. They took my money, made a generic plan about 'engagement' and 'content pillars', and then ghosted me after two emails. The whole experience felt like a cash grab preying on regular people who get lucky online. Has anyone else been burned by these so-called experts after a random post blew up?

My cousin in Tampa paid a guy $500 to "monetize" her baking reel. He just told her to post more often and sell t-shirts with a catchphrase she didn't even like. The whole industry feels like those late night infomercials selling get rich quick tapes. They sell you a dream but the plan is just empty words anyone could find for free online. It's all about cashing in before your fifteen minutes are up.

Ugh, my friend fell for the same scam, @the_eric.

Wasn't there a whole article about these "content coaches" popping up everywhere? It's like they all use the same playbook, @the_eric. Tell someone to post three times a day and slap a logo on a cheap mug. They're not selling a real plan, just repackaging the same old advice you could get from a library book. Makes you wonder who's really getting rich here, doesn't it?
