PSA: I finally figured out why my friend's cat video blew up when mine never did

I always just posted short clips of my cat, Mr. Whiskers, doing normal stuff. My friend in Seattle posted a 7-second video of her cat getting spooked by a cucumber, and it got 2 million views in a week. The thing I missed was the sound. She used that 'oh no' song that was trending, and I never even thought to add audio. It seems so simple now. Has anyone else had a video take off just because of the sound they used?

My buddy tried that trending audio over a video of his cat knocking over a plant and it got 2 million views. Not saying the audio is magic, but it definitely helps.
