My wife's phone fell in the toilet and the video of me fishing it out got 2 million views
So two Saturdays ago my wife dropped her phone in our toilet right after flushing. It was just sitting there at the bottom and she was freaking out because all her work stuff is on it. I grabbed a kitchen tongs and a ziplock bag and went in after it, and my teenage son was standing in the doorway filming the whole thing because he thought it was funny. I didn't even know he was recording until three days later when he showed me he had posted it. Somehow his clip got picked up and now it's at 2.1 million views and people are calling me the toilet tongs guy. I've had two local news stations email me and a company that makes waterproof phone cases messaged about a paid post. I never wanted any of this and I honestly don't know what to do next. Do people usually just ride this out or should I be trying to turn it into something?
