My 2 minute clip from a random skate fail got 4 million views, now I'm terrified to post again
I dropped a board at Venice Beach last spring and someone's clip of me eating it hard took off, now I get recognized at grocery stores and it's honestly creepy. Has anyone else dealt with your face being everywhere and you didn't ask for any of it, how do you just go back to normal life?

My buddy Todd had a wipeout clip hit 8 million on TikTok back in 2022 and he went through the same thing. First thing that helped him was turning off comments and tags on the original post, you can mute notifications without deleting anything. Second, he stopped reading his own mentions for a month straight, just had a friend check for anything that needed a real response. The creepy part fades faster than you'd guess, most people who "recognize" you just saw a video once and forget you by the next aisle. Get a hat and some cheap sunglasses for the grocery store runs if it bugs you, sounds dumb but it really does cut the stares down. You didn't ask for this and you don't owe anyone a follow up video, that's the main thing to remember.
