Just talked to a guy at the laundromat who went viral for the weirdest reason

I was folding socks when this dude next to me recognized my shirt from a local band. Turns out he got famous two years ago because his cat photobombed his Zoom job interview and the clip got shared everywhere. He said people still stop him at gas stations to ask about the cat, but it actually got him three job offers from tech companies. Has anyone else had a random viral moment follow them around way longer than they expected?

That cat thing actually started on Twitter in 2021, not 2022 like he probably told you. I remember that clip, the cat was sitting on his keyboard during the whole interview.

And yeah @graceblack is right, I remember seeing that clip way before 2022. Once the internet latches onto something like that it just sticks around forever. That guy probably gets asked about his cat at least once a week for the rest of his life now, no joke.
