I met the guy from that 'wrong number' text chain at a diner in Boise
He was just having coffee, and I recognized him from the viral post where he politely answered a wrong number for weeks. He told me, 'It was just a group chat for my bowling league, but the internet made it a whole thing.' He said his phone blew up for a month straight. Has anyone else met someone who got famous online for something totally normal they did?

Man, that's the whole internet now. Someone just living their life does one decent thing, and it gets turned into a whole story they never asked for. It's like we're all just content waiting to happen.

Oh totally. I read about that woman who went viral for her "grocery store outfit" that was just jeans and a t-shirt. She said people kept stopping her in the aisle to take pictures, and it was super weird for her. The internet just grabs onto the most random stuff and runs with it.
