Honestly, my cousin's life got flipped by a 3-second clip of him falling asleep on a bus
Ngl, it got 4 million views on TikTok in a day and now he's getting weird brand offers. Has anyone else seen a normal person's life get that weird that fast?

Wait, 4 million in a day? That's wild, but I'm pretty sure TikTok caps view counts for the first 24 hours to stop fake hype. The real number might be lower. Still, that's how it goes viral now. One dumb clip and you're getting offers for sketchy energy drinks. Seen it happen to a guy who just filmed his dog.

Honestly @the_adam, that whole fake hype cycle is just how everything works now. My local coffee shop got called "viral" for a week because someone posted their sad muffin, then it was empty again. The attention never actually sticks around.

You're right about the cap, it's a weird shadowban thing they do. My buddy's video hit a hard stop at 250k for a full day before it jumped. The real trick is to ignore the first wave of brand deals, they're always trash. Wait a week for the real offers to come in from people who actually watched the clip.
