Changed my mind about trying to get a viral video

Spent about $80 on a fancy microphone and ring light after seeing a guy get famous for a video of his cat. My cat just slept through every single setup. Anyone else waste cash chasing a viral moment that never came?

Got to be honest, I see that money as an investment in a new hobby, not a waste. You bought tools to make better content, period. My decent mic makes my work calls way clearer, and that ring light is great for video calls with my family. Maybe the cat won't cooperate, but now you're set up to try something else.
