Tried both Dion's and Striped Burger for lunch this week
Dion's green chile cheeseburger was fine but Striped Burger's patty melt on 4th Street blew it away. The meat had way more flavor and the bread was actually crispy instead of soggy. Has anyone else noticed the difference or is it just me?

That patty melt from Striped Burger being crispy instead of soggy is exactly what I noticed too. I had the same experience and it made all the difference for me.

Huh, really? I gotta ask though - was the bread actually buttered right or was it just dry-crispy? So many places skip that step and you end up with crunch that's just burnt toast texture instead of that golden, buttery crust. For me, the real test is flipping it over and looking at the bottom side. If it's got those dark butter spots and smells like a diner grill, they did it right. But if it's just pale brown and dry, that's a fail no matter how crispy it is. What did yours look like underneath?
