TIL the guy who sold me my truck on Coors told me not to bother with the 4x4, and he was dead wrong
Bought a used Tacoma off a guy near Coors and Iliff about 8 months ago and he swore up and down I'd never need 4 wheel drive in town. Fast forward to that big storm in February and I got stuck twice on the same unplowed street off Montgomery. Ended up paying $400 to get pulled out by a tow guy who laughed at me the whole time. Anyone else get steered wrong by a seller who clearly just wanted the deal done?
Did the tow guy at least give you a discount for the entertainment value? That salesman probably never drove anything rougher than a paved driveway in his life.
