Showerthought: I had to pick between the Frontier and the State Fair for a family day out

My kids were begging to go to the Frontier last month, but I heard the State Fair had a new petting zoo. I chose the Frontier, and we spent $60 on tickets and food in two hours. The whole place felt run down and the rides were closed. Anyone know if the State Fair was any better this year?

Oh, that's a real shame. We went to the State Fair on opening weekend and it was the same story. The new petting zoo was just three sad looking goats in a small pen. Felt like both places are just cashing in on the name now without putting any money back in. I won't be taking my grandkids to either one next summer.

Yeah, it's all about the money now. They cut corners until the experience is just sad. No wonder people stop going.
