My AC died on July 3rd in ABQ, took 9 days to get a repair
Thermostat showed 88 inside my place near Montgomery and Eubank. Called around to 6 companies, most said 2 week wait because of the heat wave. Finally got a smaller outfit through a neighbor's recommendation. Guy came out July 12, replaced a capacitor for $180 and it's been running fine since. Why is it so hard to get same week AC service in this town when every summer is like this? Has anyone else had to wait that long?
