I just realized I've lived in the same Albuquerque neighborhood for 15 years.

It hit me when I was filling out a form and had to write the date I moved in. Has anyone else been here longer than they first thought?

Filling out that form" really makes you stop and count the years, doesn't it?

My last move was 22 years ago, to a house on the west side. I actually keep track of it on purpose because it feels like a real win. Staying put means you built a life there, it's not something that just sneaks up on you. I'm proud of knowing exactly how long I've been in my home.

My own lease renewal last month made me realize it's been 18 years in the same apartment.
